As Advertised!!....Tim Alderson no hits the FisherCats..
in his 6.2 IP, walking one and striking out 10 in his winning EL debut. Joe Peterson, Jesse Foppert (1 hit) and Matt Yourkin (save #1) finish up for a one hit shutout as CT wins 3-0 to take the rubber game of the three game set in NH.
Newcomer Brandon Crawford (2-4) knocked in the first Defs run with a RBI single in the third, his first EL hit and RBI. Brad Boyer drove in two big insurance runs in the ninth with a triple. Brett Pill and EME (BA now .301) both had a pair of hits today.

I was able to listen to the game and from the sounds of it Alderson was phenomenal. The only 2 runners to reach base of him were a first inning error by Esteve I believe, then he retired 18 in a row before walking one with one out in the 7th. Next batter hit a deep fly ball then Alderson was pulled.

Defsfan--don't know; there has been talk of a six man rotation--Maday, McNiven, a English/Foppert deal, Sosa, Alderson and Bumgardner. Wel'l see both new guys this weekend for sure. The other thing is they're going pick up the susp. day from last month on Saturday so who knows how that will play out.
