I'm not sure what Sabean has done that is so awful. He re-capped what's been going on with Bumgarner recently, took the blame for not keeping tabs on him during the off season (and I'll bet he's protecting some one in player development who screwed up), and sent Tidrow to work with him.

All GM's are a magnet for fans venom, but I don't think Sabean is nearly as bad as a lot of Giant fans believe he is. As a matter of fact, considering his payroll budget, I think he's put a pretty good team together.
