Thunder strikes again with a 5-3 victory over

the Connectict. The Defs muster seven hits with Todd Jennings going 2 for 4. Nick Pereira, like Garrett last night, pitched well enough giving up 4 hits, two earned runs in 5 innings along with 2 Ks and a walk but the bullpen gave up the game. Alex Hinshaw was charged with the loss giving up three runs and Justin Hendrick allowed two inherited runners to score on the only hit he gave up.

The Defs had their worst fielding effort of the season with four errors and a wild pitch that scored a run.

Patrick Dobson played third tonight giving Simon Klink his first game off this year. Trey Webb continues to look for his first EL hit striking out three times in the game.
