Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

3 in a row as Defs beat FisherCats 7-4

with three runs in the top of the ninth keyed by a two out three run double RBI double by Carlos Sosa. Sosa went 2 for 5 on the game. Simon Klink goes 3 for 4, John Bowker continues his hot hitting with a double and a triple and Jake wald chips in with a pair RBIs. Steve Holm got the catching start and blasted his second homer of the season.

Sosa's base clearing double made closer Brian Anderson the winner, his first EL victory. Ben Cox started and gave up 3 ERs and 8 hits in in 4.1 IP.

I don't have word on EME injury--any help?

Lance if you read this were they wearing the blue or black away jersey tops?

It is hard to believe in this era of information technology, nothing has been said about why EME is not playing. We've all assumed some type of injury, which is a logical conclusion with his history. Yet after three or four days, between the Bulletin, Day, team website, or Giant website, no reason for his inactivity has been forthcoming.

I've decided he's been sent back to the West coast (SJO or Fresno, take your pick) and to save $, he's traveling by train instead of airplane! What the hell, it's an explanation, which neither the local media or Defs are able (or willing) to provide.

Probably the radio guys know about EME but I don't listen that often. I like the train deal; kinda of reminds me that once St. Louis was considered "out west" for MLBB.
