B-Mets win 9-4 this afternoon. Nick Pereira takes

the loss to fall to 1-4. Nick gave up 5 runs all earned along with 5 his in his 7 innings plus three batters of work. Jeff Petersen gave on for the first time in what seems a month and gave up four runs, three earned on 5 hits two of them home runs.

The Defs actually outhit the Mets in the game 13 to 10. Mark Minicozzi in the leadoff spot hit three doubles. Brian Horwitz hit his second HR. John Bowker chipped in with a couple of RBIs. And Jake Wald, TI and Simon Klink all had two hits apiece. But all that didn't add up enough.

Another day game Thursday. Hopefully they win and take three of four.
