Chris Begg promoted to Fresno...reports Joe Perez
in his Norwich Bulletin blog tonight. On the major league level the Giants placed starter Russ Ortiz on the DL and called up hot Triple A pitching prospect Tim Linceum from Fresno opening up the spot for Chris. I suspect Geno Espineli will take Begg's spot for the time being. Good Luck Chris!
