Mark Minicozzi made his EL debut tonight
and just missed an infield hit in his second at bat in the fourth.
Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

You go Cindy! Did you make it to Hawaii to see him?
Thanks for the hat Greg. Great to have Mark M. in the lineup. He hit the ball hard but they just didn't find the right spots. I'm glad he's getting work there, it gives him a better chance to break in. He also plays second and third, and I know the kid could play first too if they asked him to.
I'm off to Pawtucket for two days to see Nyjer Morgan. He seems to be in good spirits and broke out of his slump with a 2-4 outing. .317, a league leading 13 steals and only caught twice. He's facing Lester from the Red Sox (rehab start) tonight and I hope he rips the dude.
Cool aside, I told Curve pitching coach that I have his autograph from a spring training game in like 1980 or 1981 and he got a kick out of it.
As far as the hot dogs go, there is virtually no Monday night games. I'm going to have to buy like 80 of those things on 5/14 and hide them around the park to eat at the the other games.
