Phillies score early and often and win 10-4 today and take
three of four from Connecticut. First home game I've missed this year--hey, it's Mother's Day. Darren Sack had his worst outing giving up 5 ERs (2.2IP, 6 hits, 4 BBs 3Ks) and falls to 1-3. Brooks McNivin gave up a run in 3 plus innings but Joe Bateman (his third straight ineffective outing since coming back) and Brian Anderson gave up two runs each to end the Reading scoring.
For the Connecticut offense John Bowker had a couple of hits (2-5), EME got on base three times (2 BBs, single and two runs scored) and Trey Webb in a rare start at third got his first two RBIs of the season.
Travis Ishikawa (.190 avg.) rested and Patrick Dobson got the start at first.

You picked a good day to miss your first game. Thankfully, I had to leave after seven innings to be on time for some Mothers Day festivities at home.
Let's hope for a 4 game sweep of Bingo to get things turned around. It's starting to look like a loooong year at venerable old Dodd.
