Reading downs Connecticut 7-1 on the road tonight.
Brian Horwitz hit his first HR for the only Defs run. It was one of only 5 hits for the Defenders. Simon Klink went 2-4. Garrett Broshuis went 4.2 IP giving up 8 hits 5 runs only one earned and saw his record go to 0-4.
Big crowd at Reading of 9,011.

EME removed after stealing a base in the 4th inning.
Sounds like another injury. With his history, it's probably longer term then short term. Nothing in the Reading paper about it.
Does this mean Requena is coming back?
