Defs drop first game of DH 3-1; Game 2 just underway after a rain delay..
John Bowker goes 2 for 3 with a double and the only CT. run scored on a Simon Klink RBI ground out. Alex Hinshaw only goes 3 innings (14 batters) before giving way to Ryan Sadowski who takes the loss. Got to wonder if Hinshaw is injured somehow.
Game 2 just started, Defs down 1-0 after one inning. Brooks McNiven getting a spot start (why not Cox?) TI not in either game lineup.

Two games, two losses, one run scored. and a ton of K's. I can't see how it could have been much worse.
Couple of thoughts: TI probably has a knee issue as a result of sliding into the fence Sunday trying for a foul pop. Hinshaw issued 3 BB's and had 5 K's. I wonder if he reached his pitch count because, using the Yankee philosophy, Trenton likes to work the count. 5 to 6 pitches per batter would get him to the 75 limit he's been on pretty fast.
