Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Tough start for the second half. With the playoff possibility slipping away I just hope some of the kids kick some ass and get a little something for themselves. We'll see some fresh teams coming in August (nothing against the b. mets) so it will still be fun.
Travis I. is hitting .310 in SJ but is striking out every third ab.
Martinez Esteve hasn't played in three weeks.
Horwitz and Begg both doing well in Fresno.
EL note - Anderson Garcia (Reading 2007) was just sent from the Phils back to AAA. He had one appearance for the big club. Buckholz goes tomm. for Pawtucket.
