Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Defs beat FisherCats 3-1 in Game 1 as

Dave McKae (welcome back?) goes 6.2 IP with 5 his allowed and 4 Ks. Brain Anderson gets the final out for his 28th save. A three run fourth fot the Defs was the difference. a Randy Ruix RBI double, a TVS ground out brought in the second run and Simon Klinks's infield hit plated the third run.
In Game two is scoreless after 8 innings.
Misc fan notes: My attendance for Wednesday is doubtful at this point. Hondo covered it in the comments section of yesterday's post but the Giants organization just doesn't have a plan. AND TVS bunting with two strikes?????

I found out the facts on the McKae deal tonight. It was a paper transaction only, for some unknown reason. Two good games tonight. Too bad season is coming to an end with them playing so well. They knocked NB out of the play offs and are trying to do the same to NH.

Had a nice vist (2 innings) with ex Def Box Office Manager, Kaitlyn Tomasello, who now holds the same position with the Fisher Cats. All is well with her.

All in all, a good night at Dodd. Will we have the oppotunity to experience more?

Good night George!

I have NO clue why Davenport was making him bunt at all! (I saw it happen on Monday's game, idk if he did it too last night)

He almost got himself ejected monday too for arguing MAJOR with an ump about a ball being fouled past him at first, which is understandable he fought it, the line was pretty much gone near the base.
