as Adam Cowart (2-1) tosses 5 IP giving up 5 hits and both earned runs. Cowart helped himself with a pair of pickoffs. Jason Waddell throws three no hit innings and Osiris Matos gets his first save this season.
TI goes 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and Carlos Sosa blasts his third homer of 2008, a solo shot. No sign of Jake? Dugout must be pretty crowded especially with all these games against NL teams and the pitchers batting. Bowyer, Wald, Haines, Rosairo...
Misc fans notes: Check out Mike Ashmore's blog (link on the right) as A-Rod may be rehabbing with Trenton next week. Another reason I so miss the Yankees being in Norwich; those rehab appearances...Cone, Clemens, Stawberry, etc. Really juiced the place up (no 'roids pun intended).

I'm guessing Manny Burriss probably won't stick the whole year in SF...any chance he'll make it to CT? Or did his promotion guarantee AAA? Thoughts?

Rumour I heard from someone possibly with a clue, tonight at the SJ games was that with Visquel now at SJ doing rehab, Burriss was going to be either back-up [unless batting average goes down to even with Bocock] or else back to Fresno. Nothing said about CT at all.

although manny was initially sent to fresno to keep him out of the ne weather, and was intially pencilled in to work out of norwich, i think he will be heading back to fresno...unless they keep him up and send bocock down, which means that bocock will be heading your way, and he wont have to worry about his offensive numbers, cuz nobody hits in norwich
