Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Defs win again 9-3 this afternoon as Brad Boyer

goes 3 for 5 with a pair of RBIs and Olmo Rosairo (1-5) clubs a 2 run homer, his third of the season. EME goes 2-4 and is now batting .316 on the season. Paul Oseguera started going 4 IP allowing two runs in his first start off the DL. He also chipped in with a two run RBI single before he left. Dave McKae gets the win in relief (4-3) with 4 IP of work.

Misc fan notes: Wow, 11 runs scored yesterday and nine today...who says you can't hit/scored at Dodd?
With Oseguera and McKae pitching today I've totally lost track of the starting rotation. Any guess as to who going Monday? I thinking Matinez.

Looking forward to taking a ton of pics Monday with the Defs wearing special camo unis.

Well Joe Perez has answered the question re: rotation as he reports that Dave McKae will be pitching out of the bullpen in long relief situations. McKae will also spot start with a doubleheader coming up against the B-Mets Saturday.

knew that mkae would either be going to the pen or sj as his starting numbers were horendous...and i guess you can hit at dodd, especially when the opposing pitcher has absolutely no control
