Sabean on Pablo Sandoval

Sabes was on KNBR yesterday and said it’s highly unlikely he ever sees Connecticut. More than likely, they’re going to move him directly to Fresno later in the season. Goal is to have him finish the year in Fresno.

Why do they do this stuff? Don’t teams have AA teams for a reason?

I’m Dodd has something to do with it. Some people have success there, but there’s not much sense in crushing the spirit one of your “hottest” hitting youngsters at a notoriously poor park for hitters. Haven’t the Giants been pushing them to reconfigure the stadium, even threatening to pull their affiliation?
