Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Ugly loss in Bowie as the Defs fall 4-3....

as the BaySox score a pair of runs off Sergio Romo in his first appearance off the DL. Connecticut was lucky even to be in a position to win having scored 3 runs on just 4 hits. Carlos Sosa had a pair of sac fly balls and Kyle Haines had a RBI single scoring Sosa who had doubled.
Adam Cowart went 6 IP giving up both runs and allowing 6 hits. Kelvin Pichardo threw two innings. The BaySox left 11 on base in the game.
Wonder what the roster move, it any, happened with Romo coming off the DL?

Defs pitching taking a hit. Bump started tonight and threw 3 nice innings, but weakened in the 4th. Sharpless relieved. Osegura must still be on DL. I thought I read somewhere that Bump and Sharpless are experienced starters. Hope so, because it doesn't look like any help is on the way.

Sabes, I'm with Greg. Get the hell out of "Doddge"

Sharpless ineffective. Bowie lead went from 2-1 to 5-1.
