Defs lose 2-0 to Portland tonight....
as the offense managed just five hits; two each from Adam Witter and Jake Wald. Pablo goes 0-4 with 3 Ks. Garrett Broshuis takes the hard luck loss going 7 IP as his record moves to 6-6. My computer's mouse is going so this is going to be a short post. Back Friday!

FILIPE ALOU WAS THERE FOR THE GAME.
MR. ALOU SAT BEHIND HOME PLATE FOR ~~4 INNINGS. DURING WHICH TIME HE DID NOT REFUSE ANYONE SEEKING HIS AUTOGRAPH. WHAT A GREAT, GREAT WAY TO TREAT THE PUBLIC. ATTA-BOY, MR. ALOU!!!!

Felipe was here for the entire series and until the late innings of game 3 was largely ignored. The fact that someone of his stature can go unrecognized for so long speaks volumes about today's baseball fan.
Pablocito and (inspite of his start) Rohlinger are going to experience the growing pains of facing AA pitching. My guess is Rohlinger comes around quicker. But Pablocito was two for two in throwing out runners last night and he looked OK defensively.
