Defs sweep! Back to back shutouts....

as Joey Martinez (5 IP), Justin Hedrick (2 IP) and Kelvin Pichardo (2 IP save #2) combine on a 8 hitter and complete the three game sweep 3-0 over Trenton. Marinez improves to 3-5 with a 1.90 ERA.
All the runs came on long balls as TI (2 for 4 double, HR) connected in the first with a two run homer, number 8, with Kyle Haines on board who had singled. In the second David Maroul went deep for the 6th time finish the scoring.
EME and Jake went 2 for 4 as Connecticut had 8 hits in the game also.
