Defs and B-Mets tied at 4-4 after 11 innings...

as I'm pulling the plug and crashing. Ben Copeland is the hitting star for CT so far with a 4 for 5 performance with 3 RBIs. Brooks McNiven started and went five innings pitched. Adam Cowart came in and threw two innings. Don't know what the deal there is. Also Dave Maroul is playing second for the first time this season.

i have a feeling that for the rest of the season, cowart will be working out of the pen...its his best shot to make the bigs

Cowart is officially a reliever as far as the Giants are concerned. Listening to interviews with Steamer, this is how they project him in the majors.
