Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

I looked at the SF box score tonight and got a kick out of the fact that I've seen all 4 relievers SF used today pitch at least 8 times each over the last 2 years in Norwich. (Next year I hope to to see the SFG's in NY, and would like to yell "wazzup" into the SF bullpen for old time sake:)
Anyone who doesn't make it over to Dodd for a few games before the season ends is missing out on seeing some future mlb'ers like Sandoval and Hedrick. I consider myself pretty lucky to get a great seat for the defenders for 5 bucks (when you show a mohegan players card, other AAA deal and discount nights available)- see a great game and end up with autographs from a bunch of players who are a months or a year or two away from playing in the majors, both on the defenders and the visiting teams.
