One bad pitch...Defs lose 4-3 tonight
as Joey Martinez almost gets out of a bases loaded no outs jam in the third. A Texas League single to center and double down the line that Ryan Rohlinger just missed grabbing and a HBP loaded them up. A 1-2-3 double play left runners on second and third but Joey served up a long Travis Snider homer to right center for a 3-1 FisherCats lead. NH added a run in the fourth to make it 4-1. Connecticut drew close in the 7th with a RBI double by Olmo and a RBI single by AR to make it 4-3 but the FisherCats closed the door to win.
Misc fan notes: Paul Oseguera is off the DL and pitched a couple of innings in relief. Nice size crowd given Sailfest tonight in New London. Good to see Tater around too!
Something was made I think another blog (or maybe mine) about medical folks not getting to a fan fast enough. Tonight a fan up in the skybox took one right off the head. He never saw it; I had a perfect view of the whole "play" from right field. I don't know how the paramedic got up there so fast from his usual spot on the right field concourse but he was up thee in about a minute. Nice job!

I got bad info from Hedrick last night when I saw Oseguera out in the pen I asked him if everyone was still here and he said yes. Didn't bother looking for Jake last night.
