Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Has anybody checked McCovey's Chronicles today? Some ass put up a post killing Pablo and then the other adolescents followed up with all kinds of non-sensical statistics supporting the author.

Another dope puts up a survey asking who is the top prospect in the organization and doesn't even list Pablo.

This thread (McCovey's) has become pretty worthless in a short time and rarely has a post that discusses anything informational about the Giants.

One of these days I''m going to make a post that will tell everyone what I really think about MCC.

Off season always brings out the best of the stat geeks.

You know in defense of MCC, The thread knocking Pablo, was a bit off but the following comments were more about cautious optimism.

The Top Prospects survey doesn't list Pablo because technically he isn't a prospect anymore. Past a certain numbers of AB's you aren't eligible for ROY, and Pablo Sandoval is past that point.

We (Giants fans) didn't really count Lincecum as a Prospect this year, despite it was his first full season. Pablo falls into that same category now (not talent wise mind you).

The hate for the Giants Organization is pretty epic in your parts but I mean come on, fans are allowed to have bad opinions and what better place to put them on display than the internet? Don't knock MCC for one fellow’s views!

And anyhow, you guys can brighten up because the rumors running around are that EVERY top prospect will see time in Conn this year.

It seems like a good fan post on MCC will quickly turn into some sort of an inside joke that goes on and on and on. So you start reading with excitement and next thing you know it turns into some sort of code and all the passion is lost. Just my take lately.
