finishes up manager week on the blog. Luis took over fron Stump Merril in 2002 and lead the Navs to the EL crown in 2002. Always liked those pinstripe vests.

I used to love the days of Sojo and Good Ol' Stump when they managed this ball club. On any call that was somewhat questionable, you always knew that you'd soon see Stump move faster than ever as he went to argue the calls. As for Sojo, I loved him as a manager. I thought he brought out the best in each player. Did he just happen to obtain that '02 club that had a good assortment of talent, or did he help bring out the best in all of them? Maybe the fact that some of those guys saw him play when he was younger made them play harder? I'm not sure, but I'm thinking with Decker at the helm this year, and what I think to be a very good crop of talent, can we at least contend this year? Is some of the problem maybe how the GM is running the organizaiton?
