Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

I checked the rosters, Brooks will be playing for Team Canada in the WBC.

So I read Todd Jennings has ligamet issue in his elboe. The word is it will require Tommy Jon.
That leaves Whiteside at Fresno. The giants went from 4 catcher at one point in Fresno last year to one this year. I don't beleive Whitter is ready to catch at that level so I would look to the Giants signing another catcher.

Too bad about TJ...and yes, I think the Gaints will now have to sign/pick up another backstop as they have shed themselves of Dayton, G-Rod and Eliezer during the off season.

Any idea where Minicozzi is right now? Any one remember Paul Ottavinia or where he is now either?

Paul is out of baseball according to the Baseball cube site. His last season was in '04 with an indy team. Haven't thought of him in a while.
Not sure about Marc; probably still with the Giants someplace.
