Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Julio Cordido.....

well it's a day after the news. That it's not a done deal yet is the only thing that is certain for now.
One thing I didn't mention yesterday was whatever the product on the field was like, the front office and game day staff have always performed in championship form. Thanks again folks!

The staff at Dodd has been great. A few ticket lines that were a bit too long once in a while, but nowhere near as bad as the sound tigers lines.

Some great ticket, food, and promo deals as well.

If this deal comes to fruition, it will be hard to replace all the friendships that have been formed at Dodd.

Especially with the players and coaches. I had great friendships with so many of the players when they were such as Jeff Clark, Jack Taschner, Vance Coizer, Brian Rogers, Chris Curry, Mitch Walk, Boof "John" Bonser, Johnny Rod, Cervy, Kevin Reese, Andy Phillips, Marcus Thames, Donny Leon, Fred Lewis, Billy Sadler, Osiris Matos, Pichardo, Antoan, Carlos Sosa, GB, pretty much every other player who came through Dodd and was here for at least half a season
anybody remember Cletus Davidson, here was here when I was young and my mom and I only have memories of ALWAYS getting caught stealing. Although, I still do have newspapers articles from game5 including one showing a picture of Cletus actually scoring a run.

Davison has the rare honor of being the only player to play for the Ravens, RockCats and Navigators.
