Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Wow! Jackson Melian?! A former relatively big name player from the Navigators. This is way back when the Gators were with NYY and had names such as Juan Rivera, and Drew Henson (NFL QB,& Yanks 3B) Also when Domingo Jean (former NYY reliever who ended up in AA) was here. Maybe around the Paul Ottavinia era as well. I think I little before Andy Phillips time in Norwich, but not sure.

He had his own theme music he he went to the plate. His parents actually named him after Reggie Jackson. He went with Drew Henson in a trade deadline deal to the Rdes for a pitcher back in the day.
