Although Simon was no John Bowker or Sandoval from an offensive stand point, he always seemed to be in a positive upbeat mood whenever I ran into him.

Well said! Always made time to talk with the fans. He and I talked about his instant celebrity when Papi singled in Portland last year and he was playing first. Simon made the news, blowing a bubble as Papi made his his way back to the bag after a turn. He said a lot of his friends texted him that night after seeing him on sportscenter. I'll miss him!

where did the klink info come from?

I'll miss the kid...he was a nice guy. I always said hi to his dad whn he made the trip.

I wish him luck in life.
