Performing for the Giants' Triple-A Fresno club against their Double-A Connecticut affiliate in an intrasquad game, Johnson moved closer toward regaining his regular-season form. He lasted seven innings, more than doubling his Cactus League high of 3 1/3 innings, and built the stamina he'll need to fill his role as San Francisco's No. 2 starter.
