but my joy of this is overshadowed by the death of rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart of the Angels just hours after he had pitched last night. He was killed by a hit and run driver who ran a red light and struck the car he was a passenger in. Two other people in Adenhart's car were also killed. The driver was arrested after fleeing the scene.
