Defs beat FisherCats 8-1 last night in NH....
sorry folks, I worked last night and our 7 seven year old grand daughter (fav player Trey Webb) was asleep in the spare bedroom where the computer is.
Anyway, CT wraps out 13 hits with AR, Bobby Felmy, Mike Mooney and Sharlon Schoop all getting two hits each. AR had a double, triple and a RBI. EME knocked home three runs and Schoop knocked in two. Ct runners stole four bases in five attempts.
Jesse English picks up the win in relief of Henry Sosa who went four innings in his Double A debut. So far this season not a single CT starter has gone further than four innings. Pitcher Geivy Garcia also made his Defs debut throwing 1.1 innings of scoreless relief.
Connecticut is now 3-2 on the season. Will be working again tonight but will be able to post.

HI guys/girls... We were at the game last night in New Hampshire "it was cold". We have a lot to look forward to this year, these guys hit the ball. Decker is the real deal, he pays attention to every detail and he loves to run.. He loves to hit and run: it's amazing how the holes open as soon as the runner breaks. Garcia throws hard, Sosa throws hard, Jesse throws hard. Our defense was untested as most ball were hit right at someone...New Hampshire plays way too much pointed music.. When Richardson was up the played "the munchkin song from the wizard of OZ", when Pill was up the played "I'm a little tea cup" when Eddy was up the played "dude looks like a lady". It was kinda ironic as they kept playing that country sond "that doesn't impress me much" after every one of our hits, even as we were pounding them...I guess we got the last laugh...CTGIANTS

hey kids, since grandpa and grandma are gonna be doing alot of babysitting over the summer...how about splurging on fathers day for a wireless router and a laptop for old dad, so he doesnt miss giving updates on the games...its the least you guys can do

im hoping that he gets an interview for the giants manager spot when bochy is fired at seasons end
