Bubba Bell's 2 run homer in the bottom of the second off Daryl Maday (0-1) was the game winning hit. Defs managed just three hits, all singles, in the game. The lone run came in the first on a Andy D'Alessio sac fly. Def batters struck out 11 times in all with everyone in the CT lineup except Bobby Felmy striking out at least once.
