in Trenton as CT takes Game 1 of a three game set against the Thunder 4-0. Brett Pill goes 3 for 4 and knocks in three runs as Tim Alderson and Ben Snyder combine on a 2 hit shout out.

One of my favorite ex-Def's is Steve Holm. Giant's DFA'd him today. Here's hoping he gets picked up by someone.

i'm listening to san jose- broshius pitching well. my boy d ford not doing so well. they're having him switch hit. i'm not so hot on that idea. need to see him here in ct.

with whiteside, holm's chances of getting back up as a backup became slim to none...he mightve asked for his release...im sure he will get picked up
but the giants org is nuts...they still have a 37 year old utility if on the roster, who is batting 214...and costing over a mil...kfran could do that for a 1/3 of the money
and its time hondo...admit it...decker is a damn good skipper
