Defs driving me crazy...we're tied at 2-2
I pulled the plug on myself at Dodd again tonight at 9 PM as it was another slow moving game tied at 1-1 after 7 innings. Of course by the time I got home, CT had coughed up a cheapo run featuring at dropped infield pop up, EME tying throw out a runner going from first to third from right field allowing the second runner to advance to second. CT almost gets out of the inning but a Waldis Joaquin wild pitch pushes across the go ahead run.
CT tied in it the bottom of the 9th as Bobby Felmy doubled and EME laid down a sac bunt as the SeaDogs tried to get Felmy at third but was safe on the play. Brandon Crawford stuck out (he needs a game or two off as he is slumping big time 7 for 38 in his last ten games) but Sharlon Schoop brought home Felmy with a sac fly to send it into extra innings.
Defs not taking advantage of their chances through out the game....Dan Otero now pitching......Defs have a new player on the roster--Ramon Castro who is listed as a second baseman. No idea where he came from as there is no info on milb.com on him. Neither team seems to want this game....

Defenders signed Ramon Castro as a Minor League free agent last Tuesday. He only played 9 MLB games for the Oakland A's in 2004 and he's not the one that played for the Mets and White Sox recently.

As is the norm, Bacci is again misguided. The Def's won in the 13th on a EME walk off RBI single.
