Defs lose 4-0 to the Curve tonight in PA...
as Jesse English takes the loss to even his record at 4-4. English went 4.2 IP giving up 2 runs, 4 hits and 7 BBs. CT could only manage 4 singles, 2 by Bobby Felmy. Rubber game Sunday.

I didn't know AR wasn't on the roster until I looked at the "League Transaction." on ctdefenders.com. Sometimes milb.com makes mistakes like recently for Brooks McNiven, he wasn't on the roster, but he told me afterwards he was on the roster. For AR, he was out. I would definitely say he was released from the team last week.

milb teams put guys on and off the roster depending on who is playing
the rules regarding roster changes are very flexible
just cuz someone is not on the roster doesnt mean they have been released

Bacci is right. They have stopped using the term "reserve" on the roster as much. I thought the same thing last week until I went to the park and there he was. Mooney was off the roster for last weekend's series.
