Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Defs take rubber game 6-4 as the Curve...

make three more errors today. Daryl Maday gets the win to improve to 3-2. Dan Otero gets save #14.
Brad Boyer, Brett Pill (HR #7), Bobby Felmy and Brandon Crawford all have two hits each as CT wraps up the road trip taking 4 out of 6 games.
Ct jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first on a two run single by EME and a two run double by Mike Mooney. The Curve would make it close trailing 5-4 but Pill's solo homer in the top of the 9th gave CT a big insurance run. Joe Paterson flirted with diaster in the bottom of the 9th as Altoona got a pair of two out singles but Otero came on to get the last out.

Altoona has to be the worst defensive team in the league, by far. Too bad, because they have decent pitching.

The team couldn't have been too happy about a Sunday 6:00 PM start with a long bus ride back to mess up their off day.
