Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

That's a shame...Curve win 3-2 in 10 innings as..

the team with the worst record in the league takes 2 of 3 from the first place team in the Northern Division. Dan Otero (0-2) gives up a run in the 10th as the Defs waste a good pitching performance from Daryl Maday (1-2, RBI single). Defs had 10 hits in the game but not when they counted, as Bond, McBryde and Witter (a pair of doubles) all had two hits each.
Defs with a day off Monday and then visit Trenton for the first time this season.

i know you guys love the dodd...but its time to face facts

the team currently has a mental block while playing there

go ahead hondo...tell me im crazy

then explain why the defenders are
21-9 away and 14-19 at home

that is upside down

and i know it is still early and there is a way to go...but accept it....

decker is the best manager this team has had since being a part of the giants org...and that man is headed to be the skipper of an mlb team, sooner than later...he is a winner

Bacci.... I'm not going to get into anymore debates with you about Dodd. You've never been to the park so you really don't know what you are talking about. Personally, I have never felt a baseball field offers a home team advantage. But Hell, I've only been following the game for a short 70 years or so.

Regarding your adoration of Decker, no one here is bitching about him. As far as being the best manager here so far, my 12 year old dogs could figure that out.

Time to find some new points to cyberspace about my friend, you've beaten the other two horses to death.
