Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

BFTP 2004 hitters continued....

A local guy from Springfield, MA., Doug had a big season in '04. Appearing in 140 games he had 537 ABs and hit .292 (157 hits). He racked up 23 doubles, 10 HRs 71 RBIs along with 33 SBs. He made his MLBB in '05 with the Giants and got his first MLBB hit the following year with the A's.
Note: I have most of the uniforms worn by the Norwich/CT franchise but not the "Patriotic" style sported by Doug. Never liked it.

D-Mac was in 110 games hitting .271 (118 for 436) with 23 doubles, 5 HRs and 55 RBIs. The second baseman was always coming up with big hits that season.

Note: Uniforms
Do you have any pictures of the 2005 Road (grey) uniform? Also, any pictures from the 2005 Dead Event (event itself, people)? Thanks - Great Blog
