Defs add two to the bullpen...
Craig Whitaker from SJ. Craig has relieved in 26 games with a 1-1 record, 3.89 ERA 41.2 IP, 25 hits allowed. He appeared with the Defenders in one game late in '07 giving up 4 runs in one inning.
Mitch Lively comes to the CT pen from Augusta. A 4.58 ERA with no record in 13 games, all in relief with 17.2 IP. He started the season in SJ appearing in 16 games.

With Whitaker (now returning) and Lively now with the team, I think Garcia should remain as a starter (with Alderson now traded) and just have 5 men rotation. Unless if the Defenders like having 6. That could be seen in the very near future possibly.

Otero gone for the Year, as Tommy John surgery is required... Talked to Henry Sosa yesterday, they've put his arm on the shelf for 4-6 more weeks no surgery required "he's done for the year in Connecticut"... Pichardo is in Arizona, send him our way....As for Alderson: The Giants will regret this trade down the road, as this kid pitches his way to a perennial 15 game winner in the Bigs.... CTGIANTS
