Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Defs hang on and win 9-8 in NH...

tonight over the FisherCats. Mike Mooney was the hitting star hitting a three run homer, his fifth homer this season. Brandon Crawford knocked in a couple of runs. Brock Bond and Jackson Willimas both had two hits in the game.
Tim Alderson gets the win improving to 6-1 with a ERA of 3.29. The bullpen almost let this one get away as the FisherCats scored 7 times in the sixth inning. Alderson started the sixth and was charged with 4 runs. He gave way to Dan Griffin who was charged with three runs. Ben Sndyer settled down after walking in one of Griffin's runners allowing just 1 hit over his three innings of work.
Dan Otero pitched the 9th to earn his 18th save of the season.

Misc fan notes: Sloppy game as the Defs committed three errors and the 'Cats two.
