WHAT A JOKE.....
Tim Alderson is traded to Pittsburgh for Freddy Sanchez, GB (2-2) is moved up in the rotation and doesn't get out of the first inning and with the deleted pitching staff the Defenders have had 4 position players pitch in tonight's game, a 6-2 loss to the BaySox:
Bobby Felmy goes 2.1 IP and doesn't allow a run
Tyler LaTorre throws a inning and gives up one run
Mike Mooney throws a scoreless inning
Adam Witter throws an inning and gives up one run
I'm amazed the guys pitched so well--with some hitting we could of won this thing.
Is there help on the way SF brass???? What a nightmare....
Brock Bond goes 2 for 3 (what else is new) and is hitting .360. Sharlon Schoop hits his second homer of the year.

Well, based on the last two nights, Bumgarner and GB should be available for tomorrows AM game to conclude this series from Hell. I hope Decker challenges their redemptive qualities.
For sure the timing was awful, but I'm not going to complain about the Alderson trade. Sabean is gearing up for a Giant stretch run and Alderson became a casualty.
