Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Defs clinch first place in the Northern Division...

as the RockCats lost Game 1 of their DH against Trenton 6-5. CT is leading Game 1 of their DH against the Senators 5-3 after 4.4 innings.

UPDATE: Defs win Game 1 5-3 behind Brett Pill's three RBI performance and Sharlon Schoop's two run single. The three RBIs boost Pill's season total to 100. Geivy Garcia started and Joe Paterson records the win in relief. JoePat is now 5-6 this season. Mitch Lively throws a scoreless 7th to record his first save.

In Game 2 both teams both teams are scoreless after 5 innings as I'm pulling the plug tonight.

CONGRATS TO THE DEFENDERS!!! FIRST PLACE NORTHERN DIVISION!
