Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Defs, FisherCats tied at 3-3 going into the 9th

as CT had a 3-0 lead at one point. Daryl Maday started and gave up a two run homer. Shane Kaufman gave up the tying run. Mitch Lively is now pitching. Mike McBryde is 4 for 4 with a double and RBI in the lead off spot (where's Bond?). Brett Pill and Brad Boyer have the other RBIs for CT.

**UPDATE: DEFS WIN 5-3 thanks to a two run throwing error by the NH shortstop. Mitch Lively (2-0) gets the win. Matt Yourkin strikes out the side for his 4th save and gets some payback for last night's game.

Defenders got a rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs on Brad Boyer's single and a fielding error after Mike Mooney singled, Jackson Williams walked, and Mike McBryde's grounded to fielders choice that sent Mooney to third.

New Britain lost by the way. Hopefully the magic number is 12 even though Trenton won.
