Like yesterday's POTD, Dave Maroul, Antoan Richardson didn't see much playing time in the 2009 season. Before being released he appeared in 50 games batting .207 (18 for 87) with 6 RBIs.
After a wonderful farewell party, he was picked up by the Schaumburg Flyers of the indy Northern League. With the Flyers he batted .2897 (27 for 94) with 3 doubles, 4 triples and 6 RBIs. AR also stole 20 bases in 22 attempts.

Thanks for the tribute to Flash. For now, Antoan is back in the Bahamas staying fit and considering winter ball in PR or Mexico. He'll continue playing in 2010 somewhere......and my crew and I will remain some of his biggest fans.
