Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

"Bond, Brock Bond."
That has got to be one of the best names ever.
He's such a good guy, and I'm glad I got the chance to start to get to know him this year.

And Garrett's email in that SF story was heartfelt, and a real insight into what it must be like to be a minor leaguer. I was nearly in tears. He really does have a knack for painting a picture with words.
I don't think people realize that at this level, most of these guys don't make or have a lot of money, and it's all about trying and how long you can do it before you either make it or have to give up.
After reading that, I have even more respect for any of these guys who put everything aside for a chance at achieving their dream.

He does have a great baseball name. And you're right about all of those RBI's, Greg - they both did their jobs.
