Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Old friend, Kevin Cunningham (Brute) has reported that Decker has been named Fresno manager for 2010.

hondo - Kevin C. is Brute Sentiment on the McCovey Chronicles? It's hilarious reading the comments on there. I've been having trouble viewing the info. on SFDugout.com, even though I'm a member. Nice new layout. Sent Kevin a message about it.

Brute and I began our "friendship" on McCovey's with differing opinions on EME. Somehow we became friends. Greg and I initially met him at the EL All Star game that was fogged out. We continued to meet annually after that. Brute knows the Giant prospects. I hope we will be able to stay in touch.
With respect to McCoveys, it was an excellent blog for stating current with the entire Giant system. Today it is nothing more then a vulgar venue for a bunch of opinionated adolescents.

hondo - Yes, some of the guys on MCC can be pretty bad, but I do get a laugh out of some of the comments. I often wonder who these guys are and if that is all they do! LOL Some of them, Brute included, really seem to know their stuff regarding Giants players. I mainly check it for the Minor Lines and the comments on that.

the decker announcement was more than obvious...he is being groomed to be the next manager of the giants...thing is, its a waste to send him to fresno...cant teach new tricks to dead wood
as for mac chron...it was a great blog before they moved into their new digs...now it crashes my browser
i just go there to read grants headlines (always good for a laugh) and to see the guys takes on the minor lines
so kelly, are you or anyone in the family planning to go to spring training to watch your son play with the big boys?

bacci40 - Funny you mention MCC crashing your browser. For some reason that website is SO SLOW it makes me crazy. Thought it was just my computer. We have gone every year to Scottsdale, and plan on going again this year as well. Cal State Fullerton always plays either Arizona State or U of A beginning of March, so we get to see both sons play while we are there. Looking forward to it.
