Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Hi Greg, I've been watching your page for over a year now: keep up the great work as your one of my top 5 pages I visit daily.
I'm heading to Arizona in March as my son and I are Giants fans.
One of the former defender's players that now plays with Pablo said Pablo has turned into a Rock Star in the bay area. He has an entourage following him. We all knew we were watching something special when he was with us..
Mixed emotions: your link to the web-cast was great. I do feel for them, however, I'm excited to spend more quality days at the park with my son...
Can we please lose the name Dodd?

or ROSE CITY STADIUM...
or THEY COULD SELL THE NAME...I'm fine with PEPSI STADIUM, RED BULL STADIUM anything but Dodd

I remember hearing something during the season for part of the reason Posey was promoted to AAA over AA was because Jackson was here "blocking him." Seriously? Come on. I wouldn't have minded a solid catcher in Dodd for part of this season.

Since when is Jackson Williams not a solid catcher???

IMO, Williams was the most improved Def last year, defensively. He had Decker's footprint all over him. When the season started he was a defensive liability and by the end of the year he was in the upper echelon of the EL. That's what the minor's are for.
As far as Posey goes, I'm from Missouri. His numbers went down as the season wore on and were awful in the Fall League. Perhaps it was fatigue, but this year will be critical for him.
