That sound you hear is a foot being dragged...by Milb baseball in getting i's dotted and t's crossed. It's been 17 days since the O-Tigers filed paperwork with the powers that be to sign off on the move (they have 30 days to get this done)....what's the holdup???
P.S. does anyone have an email address for our new GM Andy Weber and I don't mean the generic info one on the O-Tigers website?
In other news the Saratoga Springs Phillies of the New York Collegiate Baseball League will move to Oneonta for the 2010 season.
A college summer league team moving into Dodd and sharing the field with a New York Penn League team had been mentioned had been last year but there seems to be no movement on that front.

Why not contact the League president? Weber isn't going to help, probably under a gag order. I still think it's going to go well past 30 days and as Joe mentioned earlier, the coming year could be ugly.
Who in organized baseball REALLY cares about fans today?
