Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Brett was optioned to Fresno (AAA) today. If he puts up some good numbers in Fresno, a mid season call up is a possibility. I don't see Huff having enough glove to hold the job and I'm not sure Ishikawa has enough bat to hold the job too.

He loved his time in major league spring training and got quite a bit of playing time. He is excited to get going with the AAA team and get more game at-bats. Thanks for all of your support, guys!

brett should be very comfortable in freso, as he gets to continue working with decker
brett is proceeding nicely up the org chart
huff is a joke at first, and most likely will end up on the dl by sometime early july...so look for brett to get some real time in the majors this season

Decker has been Brett's coach in Salem, San Jose, Connecticut, and now Fresno. The only year he had a different coach was in Low-A Augusta, where Roberto Kelly was his coach. So yes, he will be very comfortable.
