Bumgarner got into a spring game recently as a pinch hitter. He flew out. Perhaps if the lost velocity does not return, he could become the power hitting corner outfielder the Giants have been looking for!

I missed the announcement last November that Brian Buscher was outrighted by the Twins to Rochester. Of all the former Def position players, he's probably had more success (playing time) in the bigs then anyone else except Sandoval.
