Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Joe Perez with the word on his blog....

the relocation has been approved by Milb today nearly two months after the Jan. 28 press conference announcing the move from Oneonta. About time.....
Pictured is CT Tigers owner Miles Prentice...love the tie.

Let me renew my cry for the team to keep the same game starting times as the last couple of years (M-Sat @ 6:30 and Sunday @ 1:05) and for them to apply for the NYPL All-Star Game in 2012.

Frandsen an example of the many marginal position players who passed through Norwich. IMO. there were only three "A" guys...... Pablo, Bowker, & Pill. So many, coming out of San Jose, fell on their behinds .... EME, Freddy, TI, Nate, & a others. Yet, through it all. I am still a die hard Giant fan.

As far as a short season team, Norwich deserves better. The only thing that prevented success previously was lousy ownership.

as per gb's blog, two more former defenders leave the giants fold

oseguera and maroul

liked them both, hope they get to continue following the dream

if not...wish them both only the best
